Preparation

Cook macaroni in salted boiling water, drain and put them aside pouring a drizzle of oil on. Put the flour and the oil in a pan, cook at low heat for about 2 minutes mixing well. Add the oat milk and cook until thickened. Add the cream, a pinch of salt, pepper and the other ingredients. Use this sauce to season the macaroni. Pour them in a baking pan and cook in the oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 300 gr (2 cups) of macaroni
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 L (2 cups) of béchamel sauce
  • 50 gr (0.2 cup) of vegetable oat cream
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of dried mustard
  • A pinch of sweet paprika
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Salt to taste

For the bechamel sauce

  • 25 ml (2 tablespoons) of extra virgin olive oil
  • 25 gr (3 tablespoons) of all-purpose flour
  • 300 ml (1 1/4 cups) of oat milk
