Preparation
Place the flour on the table, make a well and put the salt in along with 1/3 of the water, of the honey and the crumbled yeast. Start mixing all the ingredients adding the remaining water little by little until you get a soft and elastic dough. Prepare some loafs of about 60-70g each and leave them leaving until they double their volume. Stretch a bit the loafs and deep fry them in abundant oil. Drain the Montanarine on paper towels and seaso them with hot marinara sauce.

- 1 2/3 cups (200 gr) of all purpose flour
- 2 cups (300 gr) of durum wheat semolina flour
- 1 3/4 teaspoons (10 gr) of salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons (7 gr) of brewer's yeast
- 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) of water
- 1 tablespoon (15 gr) of acacia or wildflower honey
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 jar of marinara sauce
- 3 1/4 cups (750 ml) of sunflower oil
