Preparation

  1. In a blender, combine the pear juice, sliced banana, plant-based yogurt, and syrup. 
  2. For a colder texture, add a few ice cubes or frozen banana slices. 
  3. Add chia seeds for a fiber boost. 
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy. 
  5. Pour into a small bottle or sealed container.

Biotalia Tip: 

Add a handful of oats for a more filling version, great for an energy boost. 

Want it sweeter? A dash of vanilla or cinnamon adds a nice twist.

  • ⅔ cup (150 ml) Bioitalia pear juice 
  • 1 ripe banana 
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) plain plant-based yogurt (coconut, almond, soy, or oat) 
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) agave syrup or maple syrup 
  • A few ice cubes (optional, for a colder texture) 
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) chia seeds
