Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C) and lightly grease a square baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the apple purée, plant-based milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  3. Add the oats and raisins. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into bars to help them hold their shape.

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) maple syrup (or another sweetener of your choice)
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) raisins
