Preparation

Blend the chickpeas and add the sugar, the honey, the half-melted butter and one yolk at a time, mix well. On a side, add the sifted starch to the baking powder, the cinnamon and the lemon zest. Mix all together. Then beat the egg whites and add them carefully to the mix. Pour it in the donut molds and put them in the pre-heated owen at 180°C for about 12 minutes. Once cooked, take it out from the oven, let it cool down, fill the donuts with a generous quantity of jam.

  • 1 cup (220 gr) Chickpeas
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup (60 gr) Sugar
  • 1/4 cup (70 gr) Acacia or wildflower honey
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (50 gr) Hazelnut flour
  • 1/4 cup (60 gr) Butter
  • 1/2 cup (60 gr) Potato starch
  • 3 tablespoons (50 gr) Mixed berries extra jam
  • To taste: Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Lemon zest
